1. John Griffiths MS – Welcome and introductions
John welcomes everyone to the meeting and invited MSs to introduce themselves. No MSs were present but staff members noted their presence in the chat.
2. John Griffiths MS – Minutes of the last meeting
John asked if anyone had any objections to the previous minutes. There were no objections.
3. Bec Miller – Matters arising
Bec advised that the group wrote to the cabinet secretary about winter pressures, following the last meeting, but have not yet received a response.
4. Bec Miller, Policy + Public Affairs Officer, Asthma + Lung UK Cymru- Review of the CPG this Senedd.
Bec presented a slide show of successes in lung health since the inception of the group. Successes included the quality statement for respiratory disease, Asthma Hub and COPD Hub Apps and the clinical network.
Bec referenced best practice projects such as the Pembrokeshire schools project, interface nurses and the CTM low income household projects.

Philip Webb highlighted the need for the next Senedd’s CPG to prioritise primary prevention, including:
Phillip also emphasised that prevention work by local authorities deserves greater attention.
John Griffiths MS supported giving prevention greater priority and noted the progress made by the group this term.
Frankie Toner praised Wales’ progress compared with Scotland and emphasised the need:

Joseph Carter led formal thanks to:
Joseph reflected positively on the stability and progress of the Respiratory Network, urging Welsh Government to maintain funding and clinical leadership.

John Griffiths MSthanked all members, service users, charities, professionals, and officials for their contributions over the term.
John encouraged continued engagement in the next Senedd.
